How much does it cost to use Music Connection LLC? Nothing! Music Connection LLC is a free resource for connecting event planners with local, professional musicians.

How does Music Connection LLC work? During your initial interview, we’ll gather information about your event (date, time, location, theme, type of music desired, and your budget). We’ll contact local, professional musicians who meet your requirements and put you directly in touch with them to work out the details.

I’ve never hired musicians before. What should I expect? Once the details of the event are agreed upon, the musician/group will send you a written agreement or contract. Upon acceptance of the agreement, most musicians require a non-refundable deposit to reserve the date. If they’re not familiar with the venue, they may want to schedule a tour prior to the event. Musicians need access to the performance space prior to and after their performance to set up and pack up. Musicians require breaks to keep their vocal chords, fingers, and mouths strong through an entire performance. Most musicians take a 15 minute break every hour. Depending on the type of group, it may not be possible for them to play spontaneous song requests — make sure to discuss songs/music you want played before the day of the event.
